I am a ceramic sculptor exploring the aesthetic of wood and gas fired ceramics. 

While it is possible to control, to a degree, how ash, minerals and flame flow through the kiln and settle to melt on the ceramic surface, I am not looking for predictability. I create forms that are aesthetically unique and enjoyable, with surface treatments that sublimely enhance the work.
